Youth Education
In addition to all the adult education we do through newsletters, workshops, publications, and our website, the Middle Park Conservation District also participates in several youth education programs. While some of the programs we do are developed and hosted by us, we mostly assist partnering organizations with their existing programs in Grand and Summit Counties.
Some of the programs we support include:
Camp Rocky hosted by Colorado Association of Conservation Districts (CACD)
Leadership with Horses hosted by Blue River Horse Sanctuary in Summit County
Bug Week hosted by Grand County Water Information Network (GCWIN)
Save the Frogs Day hosted by the Sulphur Ranger District of the US Forest Service (USFS)
Mud & Muck Day hosted by Grand County 4-H
Water Warriors hosted by MPCD and High County Conservation Center in Summit County
